I swapped the cheap standard seat to my beloved Selle SMP Dynamic (no more numb feeling). Tires are ok, but with the bad weather coming I am going to swap the front tire to Schwalbe Ultrabite Evolution. Gearing is fine, I might swap the 50-34 crankset to a cyclocross 46-30 crankset. Also where I live (Ghent, Belgium) there are no hills around, all is flat. The TRP Spyre brakes are not as horrible as people say, they are much better then racebike rim brakes but not as good as mtb v brakes. I chose the Cube Nuroad Pro 2021, I only had to wait one week (I got one of the first models, bought at Fiets! in Ghent Belgium).Īnyway I am very happy with it (did already 100km). So in the end I went searching for a new gravel bike around 1000€, not many decent choices in that category, the only well equiped bikes were: Cube Nuroad Pro and Decathlon Triban RC520. I was going to buy an mtb, but I also wanted to use it a lot for road. 20 years ago I used to cycle a lot, mtb and road. My first new bike after 15 years of used bikes. This bike is awesome, good recommendation, here I share my thoughts and review about the bike: The Radavist - Gravel grinding news and reviews.
